For the Community
Camp Fire USA River Bend Council seeks to serve the community by offering important programs for assisting youth to being caring, confident individuals and future leaders.
- Club Program: Adult mentors are trained to work with youth on a program curriculum appropriate for their age.
- Self-reliance classes are offered to schools at little or no cost, depending on the program. These classes teach youth important skills needed to care for themselves and to be responsible.
- Camp Tannadoonah is a resident camp in Vandalia, Michigan where youth develop friendships and learn about the great outdoors.
- Camp Tawanchi is a day camp/day care program run in cooperation with the Mishawaka Park and Recreation Department.
After-school Club Programs offer informal educational experiences in established day care settings to youth members of that organization.
